Итоги Всероссийского конкурса детского рисунка (на английском языке)

National Committee of Cartographers of the Russian Federation has performed a nationwide competition of children drawings "Living in a globalized world". The information on this competition was published by the nationwide newspaper for juniors ‘Pionerskaya Pravda’, by ‘Geografiya’ weekly, by ‘Zashchiti menya!’ (‘Protect Me!’) magazine of the Orphan House Foundation, and also represented at the Web sites of the Russian Geographical Society (http://rgo.msk.ru).
430 drawings were received from children of 55 Russia’s regions. 55 best drawings will be awarded by Diploma of the National Committee of Cartographers of the Russian Federation and the Russian Geographical Society, and by valuable presents (books, atlases, and maps). All other participants of the competition will be also awarded by encouraging diploma. The exhibition of the best works will be open at the Russian State Library since May 29. The participants of the competition, journalists, officials, etc. are invited for the exhibition opening ceremony.

Six best children’s drawings were selected by the Board of adjudicators of the competition and approved by the National Committee of Cartographers of the Russian Federation for the participation in the Barbara Petchenik Children’s World Map Competition.
